Picnicking in Style

If you're picnicking on the Fourth, don't forget to add an array of veggies. I love meat, but when I host a picnic, I make sure I have at least three different vegetables available. It's a good way to introduce vegetables to people who think that fresh veggies are the two week old ones sitting in a produce section of a grocery store. I can't tell you the number of people who reluctantly tasted one of my vegetable dishes and were surprised by the amount of flavor in each bite.
