Goat Milk Soap!
Having goats gives rise to new adventures, whether it’s getting to know them, learning how to milk, venturing into cheeses, or my newest obsession, Goat Milk Soap!
I’ve had my share of mishaps and mistakes as I’ve taught myself to soap. Soaping is in large part a course in chemistry and mathematics, and no amount of artistic prowess can overcome an imbalance in the chemistry of soaps. It’s been a steep learning curve, and mistakes are literally costly, but the end result is quite satisfying and enjoyable.
My family has been enthusiastically supportive, both emotionally as my cheerleaders, and by making sure I am completely stocked with soap molds, cutters, micas, and fragrances. I hope to do them proud. I still have a lot to learn, and lots more practice to feel like I’m making headway, but the fun of making soap… well… It’s a blast!
Check out the Soap Page to see what I’ve currently for sale (Local only at the moment). I will be updating the site as more soaps become available. If you would like to order some soap, contact Liz (that’s me!) through the contact page. Orders will be available for pick-up at the stand on Thursdays.
