Adding New Vegetables This Week

There's a lot of new items we will be adding this week. I will spend more time giving them a proper description at a later time, but for now let me just tell you what we have.
For vegetables, we will be introducing snap peas, snow peas and beets. This week we have a decent amount of beets and snap peas, but only a small amount of snow peas available. In case you don't know, snow peas are the flatter peas used more for stir fry, while the snap peas are the fatter and thick skinned used for cooking and snacking. The Red Ace beets come in bunches of 4 or 5 depending on size. We also have a decent amount of baby leaf lettuce, kale, romaine, bibb and butterhead lettuce. We have a limited amount of arugula, spinach and Swiss chard.
Also we are introducing a 20 year old sour dough bread starter. My son-in-law is a master bread maker working at a very high end bakery and will be selling sour dough starter at our Shiloh Run Farm store.
We are also beginning to introduce a number of herbs to the stand. Oregano, Sage, Thyme and Lemon Balm will be available this week.
Since we have new members coming aboard, it's a good time to remind you that our main pickup time is Thursday from 10:00 to 1:00 and will be in a bag/tote at the farm stand with your name on it. To make it as fair as possible, all veggies are first come, first serve. If you don't see the item in the store, it is because we are sold out. Also, if you can't make that time, shoot me a text or email and we can try to arrange a different time.
Have a great day,
Mark
