The End is Now

So this is the last week we are going to be open this year. It's been a successful year in many respects here at Shiloh Run Farm and we truly do appreciate many of your kind words regarding the quality and taste of our vegetables. I can honestly tell you, that we put a huge effort in providing you the best tasting organic vegetables each week.
Although we are closing this week, Saturday being the last day, if any of you loyal customers need something during the month of October, we should be able to help you out. We should have a good supply of tomatoes, peppers, winter squash, arugula, garlic and onions. Perhaps if you send us an email, you can pick up on Saturdays. Otherwise, I do want to thank all of you for supporting local organic farming. Honestly, we don't do the farming for padding our bank accounts. In fact, I cringe when I look at the time and money I put into growing versus the return. I believe in organic farming and I love educating the public in what good tasting food can taste like. I'll probably send out a questionnaire after I close up the field to gauge where you stand for next year, but I did want to thank everyone. It was fun getting to know you and to hopefully make a difference in your daily meals.
This week, we will be adding radishes to the mix. They are the same long colorful shunkyo radishes we began selling early this year.
Otherwise, we have everything from last week including:
Arugula
Radishes
Green Beans
Eggplant
Pickler cucumbers
Green Bell peppers
Red Bell peppers
Lunch Box peppers

Garlic
Slicing and Heirloom tomatoes
Cherry Tomatoes

We will be available for online pickup Wednesday and Thursday 4:00 to 6:00 and Saturday we will be open for drive up and pick-up from 12:00 - 3:00.
Thanks again for a great year,
