Some old, some new

Theoretically, September is the month we start transitioning back to some of the spring crops. The excessive heat is slowing things down on that end, but we are still able to get something new for you.
You'll be receiving spaghetti squash this week. Last year, this was a favorite for many of you. You can ask me how to use the squash if you have any questions, but I would recommend using is with a pesto sauce. You'll be getting more basil this week if you haven't had the chance to make any pesto yet.
We will also go back to be giving you arugula and radishes. It's been awhile since harvesting these for you, so I hope you find this to be a nice addition to complement some of your summer crops.
In addition to the above crops, you'll be getting tomatoes, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, corn, Swiss chard, kale, onions, peppers, garlic and basil.
Tomorrow's pick up will be from 3:30 - 6:30. Thanks to you who have been bringing back the plastic containers. This will go a long way to finish up with enough of containers to end of the CSA, which by the way, ends the first week of October.
Thanks,
Mark
