With two more weeks of the CSA remaining, we will be bringing out the winter squash.  This week you'll be receiving acorn squash with your share.  It cooks like most winter squash, but if you would like any details, talk to me tomorrow.

Other than that, your share will include tomatoes, cherry tomatoes,  spaghetti squash, Swiss chard, kale, leaf lettuce, arugula, radishes, string beans, zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers, basil and onions.

As we march toward fall, some old friends will be returning. Not only will you be getting some spring favorites of radishes and arugula, you can add to the list some leaf lettuce and string beans.

Though winding down, we will be harvesting most of the summer crop as well.  In fact, this is the last of the sweet corn.  I was going to freeze the rest for myself, since the ears now are not full, but because I received so many positive comments, you'll be gettin...

Theoretically, September is the month we start transitioning back to some of the spring crops.  The excessive heat is slowing things down on that end, but we are still able to get something new for you.

You'll be receiving spaghetti squash this week.  Last year, this was a favorite for many of you.  You can ask me how to use the squash if you have any questions, but I would recommend using is with a pesto sauce.  You'll be getting more basil this week if you...
